Report of the Pharmaceutical Review Seminar 2023 for DAV

On April 21, the PMDA held the “PMDA-ATC Pharmaceutical Review Seminar 2023 for DAV, Vietnam” along with the occasion of “The 5th Asian Network Meeting”, a forum for closed discussion among top-level executives of regulatory agencies from Asian countries held on April 19.

This seminar was designed for seven staff members of the Drug Administration, Ministry of Health, Vietnam (DAV), who are engaged in review of pharmaceuticals.

Through PMDA’s information sharing, the DAV’s staff learned PMDA’s activities, the overview of new drug approval review and visited Center for Drug Evaluation. The PMDA staff members from the Office of New drug II and the Office of International Programs also had a fruitful discussion with them on related issues in the Q&A sessions.

The PMDA continues to help improve the DAV’s capacity building through training opportunities as well as ways of support that two sides have agreed on.
