On May 27, the PMDA held the " PMDA-ATC SaMD Webinar 2025 for Thai FDA, Thailand."
Nineteen Thai FDA regulators participated. The webinar's theme was the regulation of SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) in Japan. The PMDA staff members delivered a lecture on the Japanese regulatory system of SaMD and all participants actively discussed with the lecturers at Q&A session.
The PMDA continues to provide training opportunities and contributes to capacity building of Thai FDA.
